Terms of use

These terms cover your use of AgLand Profile and the reports you buy from it. AgLand Profile is operated by Amni LLC, a WA limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By ordering a report you agree to these terms.

What you are buying

A report about a plot of land that you outline on a map: its soil, climate, terrain, water and hazards, and how well crops and livestock would fit it. We build it from public datasets when you order, and give you a link to it and a PDF by email. The price is shown before you pay, and you pay once per report.

What the report is, and is not

This report is built from trusted third-party data. You can check where each figure comes from on our data sources page. The data is owned by its providers and shown as they publish it, so its accuracy rests with them. The scores and ratings are our own reading of that data, and the reasoning behind them is set out in the methodology. It does not cover legal title, zoning, water rights or market values, and it does not replace a site visit and lab tests.

A report is decision support. It is not legal, financial, agronomic, engineering or valuation advice. It does not cover legal title, zoning, water rights, easements, contamination, market value or what you could earn from the land. Values are modeled or averaged for an area, not measured on your ground, so check what matters to you on site before you buy, plant or borrow against land.

Paying and refunds

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Sales tax or VAT is calculated automatically for your location and shown before you pay, where it applies. To ask for a refund, email us as described on the refunds page.

Your report link

Your report has a private link. Anyone who has the link can open the report, so share it only with people you want to see it. We keep each report available online for 365 days after you buy it, so you can open the link again in that time. After that the link stops working, so save the PDF we email you if you want to keep the report.

Using the service fairly

• Do not use scripts or bots to order reports, to pull data from the site, or to load the service in ways that could slow it for others.
• Do not resell or republish reports as a data product. Sharing a report with someone who works with you on the land is fine.
• The data in a report belongs to its providers and is used under their licenses, which are listed on the sources page. Keep their credits when you share it.

Our responsibility

We work to build each report carefully and to say plainly where its data falls short. The service and the reports are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made using a report or for losses that follow from them, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the report. Nothing here limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute we can't resolve informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you agree to that venue. If you live outside the United States, nothing here overrides consumer-protection rights the law of your own country gives you and doesn't allow you to give up.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A change does not affect a report you have already bought.
